Here are notes from our last meeting:

* Solicit companies for food coupons, gifts, or a pizza party for the class that brings in the most submissions from the community.

* Class with most submissions will either get a party or they can draw for prizes.

* Every day have a school wide theme for students to write about in their journals.

* Ways to get students writing:

            - poetry night

            - pen pals

            - military pen pals

* Create the image for your students and parents of a bridge.  Build a bridge to someone you love with writing.

* Have a write night where parents come to write letters to their student.
